Handmade Organic Baby Moses Basket from Heart of Vermont
The Organic Moses Basket Ensamble from Heart of Vermont is a beautiful baby moses basket handmade from 100% naturally wildly grown palm leaves and organic cotton. The basket has a beautiful cozy natural feel and is as comfortable as it gets for a sleeping newborn.
Customer service from the online store was perfect - someone contacted us to let us know that the order will take a few weeks to ship because this organic baby basket is handmade from scratch. The order arrived beautifully packaged earlier than the estimated date.
The Ensamble costs $180 and includes the basket, a handmade futon, bumper cover, mat pad, two sheets and two receiving blankets. As you can see in the photo, the company included some complimentary burp cloths from organic cotton which was left over from producing the basket. We found the price to be very good compared to other similar products on the market.
The basket, the futon and the sheets are all very well made. The basket is shown before washing here in the photo. After washing the organic cotton materials, everything fits snugly to the basket.
Once your baby outgrows the basket (usually at around 6 months when he or she can roll over), you can use it to store toys, as a pet bed (we are having a hard time keeping our cat out of it), or store it away to be used with the next baby.
